Any good teachers in the Essex County area? I'm looking for a really good teacher worth the time and money.

Since you're in Northern MA, contact Jim Stinnett. He's in NH but it shouldn't be too far from you and he's one of the best in the area.

Look up Ward Dilmore. He's in Southern New Hampshire now, I believe. He gave me me bass (string and electric) lessons when I was a highschool student in Salem, MA. Google him to get his cntact info.

Banacos doesn't really teach bass. He teaches improvisation. I studied with him years ago and it was some heady stuff.
