I have sunbeams on my jazz and nickel lo riders on my P.
Been wondering how the sunbeams would be on the P or should I stick with the loriders?

Sunbeams are great on a P-bass.

I like there slightly loser tension.

i just put a new set of sunbeams on my Highway One P & they were wayyyy bright, had to dull em down a little & now they sound very full, punchy & smooth

I'm thinking of trying the sunbeams. What's the tension like compared to Daddario EXL 165's?

I'm guessing they would be pretty much the same ?

Thanks.

The tension is very similar - perhaps a touch higher on the DR's.

Really? Aren't Sunbeams round core and D'Addario hex?
