ok I looked around and I didnt see anything specific to acoustics. for expanding/exploring where I really want to go I want a 5 string fretless. I would love to get my hands on one for an extended amount of time for low amounts of money and on top of all that I want an acoustic so here is my question to the luthiers out there. is there a large difference in defreting an acousting as aposed to defreting a solid body. im looking at the dean eab 5 string( i know but its a good bass for the price) and this is an exploratory bass.

so to clarify .is there more weird stuff involved in defreting an acousitic than a solid body or have what I read online and feel comforatable with doing going to work..

or of course is there a fretless 5 string option out there that I havent found in the under 250 range??

There is no difference. The process is the same.
