What are some good ways to walk through a 12 bar I-IV-V blues tune?.......just need some new frills or tags to spice things ups......and the turnaround I use at the end needs to go also....I to the IV back to the I then the V......I just want to make things sound better...

Don't be adding fills if they are uncalled for. Keep your ears open work with the drummer if he's punching up the turn around go with him. It all about the groove when playing Blues. Simple and in the pocket will sound a thousand times better than some fill that loses the pocket. Even too many walkup's in the lines can distract from the singer or main fill player (guitar, harp, sax, keys.) Listen more, play less.

using chromaticism (sp?) can be a good way to stray from the ordinary

Slide up or down one fret right before the change....Lead into it.
right back to the root.

To "jazz it up" you can do a II-V walk up and a I-VI-II-V turnaround.
