Hello fellow bass players,

I'm still shopping for an upright, and I want to know what you think about the models and prices I found until now:

Hofner 060 - 1595$
Eastman 85 - 1650$
Eastman 95 - 2295$
Gewa ? - 1750$
Shen sb150 - 2200$

Which one would you choose, and why ???

Note: under 2400$, price is not a factor, so I just need to know which is the best bass between the ones I wrote down.

I would probably go with the Shen, but you should try to play all of them before making a decision.

I would go for the one that sounds best and will hold up (read: will not self-destruct one day in a couple of years).
