My Solo E string just popped after 2 loyal years of service. I had a set of Helicore's (exept I cept my bottom string [long e] in orch). My orchestra setup is a set of Helicore heavy's. Which, made the solo's seem so easy and playable when I slapped them on. I have a 7/8 Juzek

I am looking to try a new set of strings. Nice rich and CLEAR sound with good volume. I will order the strings probably from Lemur around the 3rd or 4th. I have the final's for a concerto competition to do so I want to get the strings and break them in soon.

Any Idea's thoughts? Comments?

I am a fan of the flexocore solo's. To my ear, they match the sound that you seem to be trying to get.
