Hi everybody,
I started playing bass guitar (4string) a couple of months ago. I am already a musician (bassoonist). But the bass guitar is still a new instrument for me. I found myself playing lots of pieces on the bass already. As a being professional musician (bassoonist) I know the principles of learning (starting) a new instrument. Therefore I started to do research to find a nice bass guitar method (very good one) on the internet this evening. Since I came across lots of options, selections of bass methods, I decided to be member of this forum so that people would help me find the right one for me. I am looking for a method that will show me techniques, fingerings and scale positions etc. on the bass guitar rather than music theory for the beginners.
I would like to specialise mainly in jazz.
I would be very happy if anyone can suggest a method or methods for me.
Thanks
