Near-pristine 5-string fretted Roscoe SKB 3005 for sale. I bought this bass brand new only 3 months ago but, as we all know what's going on in the economy, I'm not immune from its affects. :( Thus, painfully, I have to part with this beauty...
Description:
Unique single-piece swamp ash body
Maple / purpleheart neck
Pau Ferro fretboard
Bartolini pickups
Bartolinin preamp
This is a lightweight, well balanced bass (around 8.8 pounds) that plays and sounds like you'd expect from a Roscoe. IMO, the one-piece body lends itself to a more open and organic tone. There is one small nick near one of the neck bolts, which I attempted to capture in one of the attached pictures. Other than that, this bass is completely flawless and pristine.
Priced to move quickly at $1,600. Sorry, no trades. Buyer pays shipping.
Oh, Baby! Bump for a great looking bass--at a killer price, too.

This bass is so pleasant to look at. For the price you're asking, it would be a VERY sweet Christmas for someone!
I'll bet she's got a nice growl!

$1600 for a Roscoe, look at that Ash body, this thing is hot! I wish my wife would let me buy it, but she said three Roscoe basses is enough. :crying: This is a chance for some lucky person to pickup a boutique hand crafted bass for less than half the price of a new one.

Show her on paper the cost difference in comparison to a new Harley.

If you act before Illinois can get its legislation going, you could kill 2 birds with one stone. Buy the governor's seat, appoint yourself senator, and you're golden!

Being from IL originally, south of I-80. . . I can tell you that nobody likes Blago. He's "too good" to live in the Gov. mansion in Springfield and only flies down to work because his "daugher goes to school in Chicago". Plus he's trying to shut down every good thing the remainder of the state has to offer. If were up to him, IL would consist only of Chicago.

Sorry...lame attempt at dry humor...
Illinois has been waiting to hang him from his jockstrap since he narrowly beat Judy Barr Topinka in the last gubernatorial election. I'm at the top of the "hang him from his fingernails" list...
