Overall, across all those songs I like a metalhead have listened this one by far is the best.
Just wanted to share it, maybe someone who didn't heard about it will find it as much inspiring as I have.

Bumping this because it's a remarkable video, remarkable composition, and Manring is an incredible player. The best alive today, imo. :) Beautiful song.

Cool tune, my question: Would altering tunings that frequently that quickly do any damage to a bass?

Not to his. Zon and Manring designed a 30th century bass for altered tunings - The Hyperbass. The neck is graphite, the bridge is weird and the bass also has 4 detuners. It's quite epic fully loaded the bass is $7145.

Awesome. In a similar vein to "The Enormous Room" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aY4Ra2KOyas&fmt=18). Michael Manring is not from this planet.
