Hello!

I posted this threat (http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=493062) and a poster told me I should post it here.

I love to play bass. In a strange way... Using chords and melody. But I have much to pratice and to learn.

I am from Azores - Portugal. I don't have bass teachers here and the bassists here dont care much about this way of playing, also because I cant prove them how fun and how good this can be.

I was hoping you or anyone could give me good advices on how to pratice to make my playing more musical.

To answer your question.....

1. Go to the "PRACTICING DOCUMENT" thread here on my forum. That has an absolute ABUNDANCE of information on "How" to practice etc.

2. Check out my "Approach to Soloing" thread.... That will keep you busy if you'll apply it.

3. I'm coming out with my "Chord Melody for Bass" Book/DVD in May or June. This is exactly what you're looking for I suspect...

4. You could also come to the "BASS WORKOUT" I'll be teaching at in New Hampshire Jan. 30 - Feb 1 2009.
