I'm trying to get better on keyboard as so many bassists say it's essential for work these days and i was wondering do you ever find there are times when you need to play bass and keyboard at the same time, is it a bonus to be able to play something like a Roland PK-5

I've been offered one and it's niggling at me I don't have a use for it but it could be soooooo cool, but since you're the king of cool and the archbishop of useful ;) I was just looking for any advice or opinions.

Cheers

I'm going to bump this as I'm sure Justin is so busy he missed it and doesn't in anyway dislike me and my Emofro :D

I don't really rock keys and bass ever at the same time, no. I have some lightning-fast transitions to and from, but nothing I don't seem to be able to handle if I'm on point. I'm not familiar with the Roland PK-5, but hell - I'm up for anything. COuld be interesting!
