Hi, it´s my first time in this forum and i´m a rookie in electronics.
I registered here because you people maybe can help me.
I´m looking for musicman pre amp schematics or better the Printed Circuit Board, i want to put it to my bass.
I dont know if i can buy it, but if y can i´m live in Uruguay, south america, and it will be very expensive to obtain one, so i want to made by myself, or the similar as posible.
Well thats all, thanks and sorry my english

Hello Rodrigo,

These schematics do float around on the internet, it's basically a gain stage and then another with some circuitry in between or in the second one.
If you don't need tone controls you can just build a buffer with either an opamp or FET.
Also, these circuits are usually quite simple, so a PCB is not needed, just use perfboard or veroboard (boards used for prototyping, either "dots" or "stripes").
You will need to do some studying, do you have experience with electronics or soldering?

Best regards,

Jarno.

Edit:
And do search on this forum, there is another thread which discusses the design of a preamp.
