I have a beginner bass on hand, its my old Slammer by Hammer p bass. Its a very good sounding bass (even got some compliments for its sound from a local bassist)
Well, the more I play it, the more I cant stand the broken volume and tone knob. The volume knob is loose, the tone control is actually already disconnected. Can somebody explain the steps to fix the knobs and the connection for the 1/4" cable?
What I know-you need to take the pickguard off, thats easy, except that the screws are so junky, then slip with a regular screw driver
