hey ive just got started playing double bass and i am looking for some good double bass players to listen to...

i listen to alot of tom waits (love orphans and real gone) and love the bass playing on that, think its a guy called larry taylor, i also really like john martyn and his bass player danny thompson is awesome ( check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12si7A9UyGw)

as youve guessed i really like quite rough, aggressive and raw playing style and was wondering did anyone know of any similar players i could listen to? or any other recordings the above may have made as soloists?
