Not sure if this has been posted in the right forum, my apologies if it hasn't. I'm looking around for a couple more songs for my music exam (practical/performance section), and am having trouble finding some good ones.
The songs I have got currently planned are Sir Duke (Stevie Wonder), with its steady bass part and a little bit of flashyness in the unison line, and the Chili Peppers cover version of Brandy, carrying a bit more melody. Together, they seem to fall a bit short of the time required for the overall performances, so I'm trying to find another couple of songs to fill that gap. I was just wondering if anyone here could suggest a song or two that shows maybe different techniques or contrasting styles to those ones (my music teacher suggested maybe a jazz piece with a slow tempo, or a Latin-style slow one, but my experience with that style of music is limited so if anyone knows any good ones a link or even just a name would also help greatly)
Its only for IGCSE level music (year 11 for those that don't know the Cambridge system) and I've played for a bit over a year and a half so preferably nothing hugely complicated and difficult, but shows a reasonable amount of skill.
Thanks in advance
