Thanks for any input,,,,,,,, Rick I have a JZ3 in one of my JBs and like it very much. It's not the hottest preamp at all but its EQ section is very well voiced and powerful. The Z modes are great but you got to spend some time to get used. I had mine installed about few days and still working on it, this afternoon I was on a recording session and everybody on the studio loved the sound of my bass. Take some time and search for some info on this forum, there are tons of threads about Audere preamp.
