VIEW FULL LIVE VERSION : Brice Z series 6 string 34" bolt on Blue
K-Frog 04-21-2009, 09:40 PM i don't do 6 string any more, went back to 5's exclusively.
nothing wrong with this one.
EMG 3 band pre, stacked B/T, mid, 2 vol
34" scale, bolt on neck
Trans Blue, gold hardware and straplocks.
Comes in a thick gigbag.
i prefer to sell outright for $350 but will listen to trade offers. i'm interested in most everything, so try me.
I'll post a pic tomorrow (pic on my work computer)
Buskman 04-22-2009, 09:21 AM I'd love to see pics of this one...
A Z-series bolt on, you say? I thought the Brice bolt on models were the HXB line...
pointbass 04-22-2009, 10:01 AM Pic's would be great .....
If this was a fretless I'd snap it up in a heartbeat, exactly what I'm looking for (well, except for the frets ;)). When Brice switched from the older V2 version of the 6 strings the original Z6 models were bolt-on for a short period of time, then they went to neck-through. IIRC, the Z6 bolt-on's were 18mm, not 19mm spacing, but I could be wrong about that ...
K-Frog 04-22-2009, 11:17 AM indeed the first series of Z was 34" and bolt on. My fav combination, also definitely 19mm.
This pic does not show the stack knob config of the current pre, I don't have the "after" pic.
Lo end PUNCH 04-22-2009, 11:23 AM You have PM.
K-Frog 04-22-2009, 11:27 AM I'm not playing too much anymore, and whe I do I have pretty much what i like. That being said, I won't be AS interested in Basses unless cash is added (SX Pbass?) or cabs (take up too much space to not be using) or even amps.
I do need a good keyboard for my daughter (76 keys - weighted, as a minimum).
whatever?
strangely - not much bass related items desired.
Love to trade for cash
Tubbsboy 04-27-2009, 08:32 PM Bump for a nice 'B rice and honest seller.
K-Frog 04-29-2009, 08:55 PM $350 shipped in the CONUS
K-Frog 05-27-2009, 11:51 AM bumpness
FunkMetalBass 05-27-2009, 12:27 PM **sigh** If only it were 35"...
K-Frog 05-27-2009, 12:41 PM oh but the 34" 6 string is so much more comfortable.
T. B. Player 05-27-2009, 10:24 PM I'll completely agree with that!! If you want a tight low B, put a set of S.I.T. RockBrights on it. They have a higher tensility than D'Addarios, Conklins or Elixirs.

K-Frog 05-28-2009, 10:04 AM T.B. you still got the FL twin to mine?
Hyperfreak 08-15-2009, 11:41 AM PM sent, assuming this beauty is still available.
K-Frog 08-15-2009, 12:58 PM Still here. Playing it 3 times a week at church because i like it.
It can still be bought though, but I'm in no hurry.
Hyperfreak 08-15-2009, 04:27 PM Yeah, I'd really like it. I'm a high-school student about to go into a great high school jazz band and I really need a six-string bass that can hold up and is easily identifiable. This is well-priced and I'd love it if you'll sell.
Bump for my bud Kenny! Great guy to do business with.

T. B. Player 08-18-2009, 09:33 PM T.B. you still got the FL twin to mine?
No - sold it to Ed (Pointbass) for his Barker project. But check out the "non sold" Brice/Agile in the sig...

K-Frog 09-21-2009, 11:42 AM and i'm not pushing the sale very hard, obviously, but I will part with it.
I'm playing my Lakland again and loving it.
The Brice is here for the taking.
And i would entertain a trade on one of the small lightweight bass heads (Carvin BX500, MB LM2, Yamaha BBT-500).
Hyperfreak 09-22-2009, 04:55 PM PM sent. Finally.
K-Frog 10-03-2009, 05:50 AM ...and in the happy hands of HyperFreak
