What would be the some of the best aftermarket jazz pups for slap? i have been searching BestBassGear and was kinda looking at the basslines, namely the hot stack. but what else out there would be good? or any other stores to search for bass parts?

I'll bite b4 this gets moved. I just bought Nordstrand NJ4's from best bass gear and they are incredible. Of course I put in an Audere pre amp too :D! I choose the pick ups becaue I dig Marcus Miller's tone and he has the stock pick-ups in his 77 Jazz bass and these are patterened after a vintage Jazz tone.

Seymour Duncan Quarterpounders , you can use them with your eq set flat and they sound as if youve got the eq in a smiley face curve , plenty of highs and lows

Dimarzio Ultra Jazz.

Dimarzio Ultra Jazz or Sadowsky HC for a modern slap tone. SD Antiquity II or Sadowksy Single Coil for a nastier, grindier slap tone.
