I will be at ISB and will have some older, and some new basses.
Also accesories, (peg leg end pins, tilt blocks, dblBass Buggies, bass stand, stools C extensions, tuning machines and assorted other stuff possibly even some new prototypes, depending on how close Murphey dogs me.

All items will be 25% off our normal retail!

We'll be in room 100, he who hesitates gets stuck off to the side somewhere... works for me I should be able to here myself think.

If any one has a specific request, let me know and I will try to accommodate. I look forward to seeing you there.

Does the 25% off retail include your basses by any chance?

all basses, new or old, all accessories, and any thing one might order ( including basses ). I will have, I think about a half dozen older basses, along with new. If I can get the time I will try and post some snap shots of the old basses, the new are on our web sight.

thanks for your response, hope to see you there.

Thanks, Jake. Cute (I guess).
Since I gotcha' here, can you explain some stuff?
I am in the market for a bass. You can see my ad under the "wanted to buy" stuff. I got some folks in the NYC area looking for me. Ed, Arnold, Kenny-Boy and some other weirdos. As you can see in my ad, I'm looking for a bass with higher shoulders and some serious rib-depth. A Hawkes Panormo would fit the bill pretty nice. On my way to NYC for some gigs I'm gonna go right by Kansas City Strings, stopping by to visit our old friend Bob Branstetter. I got cash, and I'm ready to pop, if the sound is right.
Those pics look like a Hawkes Panormo Professor, judging from the lack of full-plate machines. (Which the Hawkes Panormo Concert model has) No?
I'm pretty sure it's not a real Vincenzo Panormo. The bass in the pics has outside rib-linings. Besides, that would prolly not be cost-effective for even ME. It COULD even be one of the ones made in France. It does have those French style tuners. Didja know about that? Kenny does.
Can you clear any of this up fer me?
Anyways, as things are right now, I guess I'll just drive in and hang with Bob and Marcia......
Damn, I fergot my question.....what's a panorma? :help:

at last the web sight link is working,
http://kcstrings.com/bass-stuff-introduction.html#isb,
and in the case of spelling, it should be better than mine as well. I am a long way from being an expert on old basses, I just wanted to show you what we have in our shop.

Paul, please do stop by, but the old basses leave the shop on Thursday afternoon for ISB, and at 25% off, perhaps it won't come back.

+1

I'm in Florida but my family is in MD, which is a reasonable drive from State College. Just looking to see if any of these would be in my price range.

as I said at in the first post if we got it done, we would have a new prototype to show at ISB and we did so we do.

please come by and give us your feed back. give it a few licks and see what you think. it is the firs model, it is a hybrid of a new variety. it can be an acoustic quiet practice bass or or you can plug it in and play it amplified. it has some unique features

I see that a video of the prototype is now up. It is played by Gerald Spaits, Misha and yours truly. I'm the one not using the Alexander technique. I had no intention of being famous, but just happened to be in the shop when this independent film was made.

The electronics still need some work and I found the tension to be pretty high. Turns out they put 1/2 size Helicore Orch strings on it and that 'spains it. Other than that, it feels good and I can see lots of potential. Not bad for a first try.
Very curious to see a finished product.
