I found a cool app for my iPod Touch;
iRealBook on the Apple App store. They do not include the melody lines for copyright evasion purposes. BUT you get hundreds of standards right on your device, transposable with two taps, editable cause they're never right.....very cool, check it out.
I am not associated, endorsee or anything else....

A nice app. For those dates where someone calls a tune you don't know it is great in a pinch. I'd prefer to have the melody line though.

The transpose function is nice too.

The developer has updated it a few times since I've had it; it's up to 625 songs now. Now has a playlist feature, and you can enter your own changes as new songs, but I don't know how easy that is.

I've used mine quite a bit. Much faster finding tunes than rifling through even Pocket Changes much less a Real Book. The only drawback is sometimes other folks' amplifiers pick up that characteristic iphone interference. There's one pianist I play with occasionally that I can't use the phone with. His amp just screams whenever I pull the phone out. Another guitarist's amp makes noise but not quite as loud. My amp doesn't have this problem nor do the amps of a lot of the other guys I play with. It is a seriously cool toy.

Another reason to get the iPhoneless (Ipod Touch). :)

I wish they made it for the Android phone. I love mine but feel severly inadequate when the I Phoners brag about their apps. Although I do like my Mr.T sounds app.

Ha! I work for a company that makes antivirus software, and we used to joke, "I pity the fool who has to remove that Trojan."

We now return to our regularly scheduled program . . .
