It's a tough decision to sell this one, but it's gotta be done sometimes. It's a 2006 model, and it's in superb condition. I got it to try out the barts to see if i liked them or not. I do like them, but it's a bit of work to swap them into another Lakland, so i wanted to see if anyone else might like to give it a try.
This 55-02 is currently equipped with DR Longnecks. It's got some awesome grain on the fretboard, which i tried to take a pic of. There are a couple minor scratches on the back of the neck, but they're not very noticeable when playing. There are some slap marks and thumb marks (where a previous owner put their thumb near/on the pups) but you can only see these with light mirrored in the finish. There's an envelope with info on the electronics and the usual case candy.
edit: I have two cases to choose from - both are Lakland branded SKB freedom cases. One needs the inside reglued since you can pull the inner part out and the other has an air freshener smell to it. The 2nd one is the one that originally came with this bass, but i've had it airing out. You can pick which case you want or make an offer if you don't want either of them.
Price is $900 shipped to the lower 48 with Lakland SKB hard case. I take paypal. I will include a set of new in package Lakland steel strings.
Trade interest: 4 string Lakland DJ or JO (US or Skyline), 4 string mm sterling H; will consider other trades.
