Hi,
Anyone out there had problems with London's 'Bass Centre'. I understand the pressures of running a business and I understand the current economic climate doesn't help but some things just don't add up. I ordered a fretless stingray to my own spec through these guys in February and, before you say it, I also understand fully that Musicman are a law unto themselves. However, good communication is a key factor for any business hoping to remain in business or, better, continue to grow but at no stage has the Bass Centre voluntarily contacted me to announce delays brought about by Musicman. Further, at no stage have they voluntarily contacted me to inform me of further delays with 'Strings'n'things' that mean I still do not have a delivery date despite having been consistently told that I would 'definately have the bass by such and such a time'. Only this week I was told that the bass would be dispatched to me only for it not to have even arrived with the Bass Centre, let alone been set up and couriered to me. I'm a reasonable man but to be honest I feel that I'm being fed a line by a company way overstretched. Bottom line is they need to sell basses - I, however, don't need to buy them, especially from them. Any thoughts? :(
