I'm going to experiment with also using twitter with this forum in mind. Right now my twitter updates are linked with the facebook page, but I think it would be good to link them in with the forum here so that I can get to posts and questions more efficiently when I'm on tour.

I have twitter running full time in my blackberry wherever I am in the world, but do not always have access to a wifi connection to jump online and answer posts and questions in this forum with my laptop.

I'd be interested to see how many people here would be into the idea of signing up to twitter and posting their queries there as well as in the talkbass forum.

P.S. if there's anyone out there that's savvy with programming and could write some sort of basic script for a twitter feed to update this forum..... that would be pretty awesome!

Well... you were one of the first people I was following, and I always enjoy reading your tweets. However, I wouldn't even know where to start to put your Twitter feed on this forum.

yeah, I'm looking into a bunch of third party apps right now, but the closest thing seems to be a twitter update feed to a blog page.....

That would kind of defeat the object of being a member of this forum and move it outside of talkbass....

Maybe I'll send the owners of talkbass an email and see if they can set something up.

I'm working on some RSS feed stuff to integrate the twitter thing into the talkbass forum. Hopefully that will make it easier to get to posts when I'm on the road.
