I have for sale a 1940 Kay and a 1938 Kay. Both are C-1 models. First is a 1940 Kay C-1. This is a very nice bass. I have recorded with it on 2 different records and gigged it many times. It has no issues to my knowledge. No neck breaks, fully carved scrolls, double black purfling, adjustable bridge. Asking $3000.

The other is a 1938 Kay C-1. This is a very nice bass also. It has no known issues. No neck breaks, fully carved scrolls, double black purfling, adjustable bridge. The back and sides are highly flamed maple. Back is 2-piece. Has a couple spots on back of delamination, but would be easy to fix. Asking $3000.
