Hi - I'm flying to Phoenix for some gigs Aug 31-Sept 4th and will need to rent a bass. Would anyone like to help me out?

Thanks,

Troy

Greetings! Check in with Steve at String Emporium. He is a member of the Phoenix Symphony, and has an amazing business dealing in bass fiddles. He may be able to assist you. It would be worth the visit regardless; many amazing basses to drool over.

Steve at Bass Emporium didn't have any instruments available for rent. Is there anyone in Phoenix willing to rent me a bass for a few days next week (9/1 - 9/4)? It can be just about anything as long as it's playable - it's all in the fingers :)

I'd sincerely appreciate it. The Phoenix gigs were supposed to be part of a driving tour, but the bus broke down!

Thanks,

Troy

PS - I'd just be using the bass at a hotel for the Western Arts Alliance conference, so it wouldn't be taken to any seedy dives

PM sent. I've got a couple you can borrow, or get in touch with Andrew at Andrew's Fine Violins. He's the go-to bass luthier in town and might have a line on something.

Thanks so much Marc. Great to meet you. I was just listening to your band, The Hay Market Squares, and was digging it. Cool sound and social commentary. Best of luck to you. Troy
