He truly is a master at that kind of music. Don't get no better. )=( bassrique 08-26-2009, 08:09 PM Here's a guy named Jacques Stotzem playing "Paris Texas" by Cooder. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsT_-4Inyvc&feature=rec-HM-fresh+div Damn that's good slide playing. jmorbita 08-31-2009, 02:12 PM I've just recently started listening to his music, and I fell in love. I've mostly heard some of his latest material, Chavez Ravine, I, flathead as well as some of his older stuff. What I think is totally amazing about him is the way he seems to connect to different musicians and styles, learning from each of them and adding to his wn style. baba 08-31-2009, 02:34 PM I can't believe that Ry Cooder gets no love here. Lots of love from me. I was just listening to Mambo Sinuendo.:) |
