I've played electrics for 40 years and have been drafted into double bass duty with a jazz quartet. The 3/4 bass I have has a set of steel flatwounds. I would like to try a set of gut or synthetic gut with wrapped A and E. If someone has a set that they would like to sell reasonably please let me know. I don't use a bow at all at this time. These things don't have to be brand new... but playable, so I can get a feel of what is going on.
