Up for sale is a Johannes Kohr K64 3/4 size hybrid busetto upright bass. It has a solid, carved wooden top (for sound quality), with nicely flamed plywood sides and back (for strength). The busetto shape refers to the bumps in the sides, halfway down the body - it's a relatively rare body shape.
The bass was beautifully made in 2005, and has NO issues. It has individual brass tuners that work well, an ebony fingerboard, and a new adjustable bridge (a $250 extra). It comes strung with Spirocore mediums, and with an inexpensive soft case. New, with the new bridge, the bass would go for $3200. $1850 or best offer. The bass is located in Toronto, and I prefer not to ship.
