Try Steve Loeb at www.bassesonline.com He had a bunch of these and was selling them for about half price in new condition. I bought a Mooradian bag from him for my smaller bass and am very happy. I don't know what he has left as he was liquidating his late father's instrument diatribution business. It's worth a try.

Did you find a case?
If not, give me the measurements of your 12 year old's bass - its length, width, depth and I will check it against a nice Scherl & Roth heavy padded black case that I have. (I think mine is a 1/2 size, because it is certainally smaller than any of my other bass cases)
If it will fit, I'll make you a GREAT DEAL on it!
