I'm using Cakewalk Pro audio 9 which uses DirectX plug-ins. I downloaded the coverter to use VST plug-ins and it works good, except for "Amplitube" and cant get it to work. everything works but the sound :( if you know what's up, please tell me.

also, is there any way I can use the effects before I record it. right now I have to record going direct, then apply the effect to the recording. makes it kinda hard when your laying your guitar parts down and your trying to figure out how much palm mute and what not to use to get the sound you want.
