He first used it on Grace Under Pressure and probably played it on the ensuing tour.

That is one wicked mullet/STLB/1090/Waterfall/etc...

The pants don't seem to be affecting his playing though.

From what I've heard, there isn't too many people who love the Expos. They're moving to either Portland or Washington DC in 2004 since no one goes to there games in Montreal.:hmm:

It would be a cool pic, if it wasn't for the headless/bodyless bass. I think those things are Godawful looking!

I'd love to play Madison Square Garden (home of the NY Rangers) & wear my NY Islanders jersey!!!!!

It doesn't matter now, the Islanders (WHO I MUCH PREFER OF THE 3 TRI-STATE HOCKEY TEAMS) are so much better than the Rangers it is a mute point. :D Well, never mind, that's a HUGE overstatement...Nino, I don't know how old you were, but If you are old enough, you certainly know how the Isles OWNED THE 80'S until a certain guy named Gretzky came along and Edmonton became a juggernaut....

God I sooooooooooooo dislike the Rangers....

How about wearing a Giants jersey in Philadelphia?

Or a Montreal Canadians jersey in the Air Canada Centre (Toronto)

I've got you beat, hands-down.....I wore my Bengals jacket and jersey from the time I was 7 till the time I was 14. Still have 'em both for nostalgic purposes. Only Bucs fans from '79 to the mid 90's can say they "understand." :bawl: :bawl:
GOD DARN THAT JOE MONTANA...34 SECONDS LEFT...JOHN TAYLOR....MID-LEFT CORNER OF THE END ZONE....STILL CAN'T WATCH THE REPLAY OF THAT GAME WITHOUT TEARING UP....:bawl:

Please don't get me started on the Leafs. :(

The 'Bergers with bodies are really nice. I'd love to score an XQ-25W sometime, or whatever the model number for the wide-spaced fiver with a body was called.

I remember on the Signals tour (1983?), Spirit of the Radio, MSG, NYC:

"One likes to believe in the freedom of BASEBALL..."

Also, read the liner notes to that LP; full of baseball references.

I was about to say Ged must be a big baseball fan; then I saw him wearing a 'Spos jersey and changed my mind.

Probably depends on what town he's playing. :)

Down here he's known as a big 'Stros fan. ;)

I'll put my vote in for the sports jacket with the collar jacked up and the sleeves rolled up. The cool Yuppie look;)

Just when I thought leisure suits was the dumbest look possible...

I just realized that whenever I see someone with a Members Only jacket on now I get a twinge of sympathy for them.

"Awww... how sad":(

You should see the stuff Geddy wore when they filmed the videos for Subdivisions, Countdown, etc.

He had the rolled up sport jacket/skinny tie/weird haircut thing going on full force!

The expos got some great teams over the years. Remember the 2 strikes?
They where in first position both times

And if the owners did't laugh of the fans, the bigO would full at every game...Well, maybe not full, but at least 20 000, 25 000 every game.

And last year (2002) the marlins had less entry then the expos, so the are not the worst team!

The story of The Expos is a very long and complicated one.

All I know is that I love baseball, and I love the Expos. I'm happy that Geddy kinda feels the same way :)

The fact this he is a fan of the Expos proves that he knows a little thing or two about baseball.

If you can name me 2-3 Expos player from the 80s right out of your head, you are a baseball fan. If you can name me 2-3 Yankee players from the same era, it doesn't mean anything.

My grandmother from another country who never heard of baseball knows a guy named Joe DiMaggio, who played for a team called the Yankees. Does that make her a baseball wiz, or even cool?

Whenever I hear people say that Expos fans don't know anything about baseball, I lose respect for them. I swear I know more about the whole game of baseball than most fans of the Yankees.

It’s very easy to root for the most publicized team. But, it takes knowledge and pride to follow and appreciate the talent and history of an underdog team, and to understand what that team means, not by how many championships it has won, but what it represents to the city and to baseball in general, in a country where the sport is very secondary to hockey.
