Just picked up "In Full Swing" last weekend-after hearing O'connor live on the radio last week (WFUV in NYC is the GREATEST!)- Unbelievable playing, these are some masterful takes on some truly classic tunes. Jon Burr's Bass playing swings like no other! Along with O'connor on violin, the album also features Wynton Marsalis on Trumpet, Frank Vignola on Guitar and Jane Monheit lending incredibly smooth and tasteful vocals on a couple of tracks. I recommend!

I would get this but for the fact that I don't like Mark O'Connor. Virtuosic as he is, I don't hear much personality in his playing. The supporting cast sounds great.

The bass playing on the first track is hot indeed.
