I bourght one to0o the GB IV in the parismic sparkle colour.... Just shocked to see some GB pics other than on the GB site.,..i still think it the best bass ive ever played.. well ill stop babbling now..

Hi Ben,

that's a nice bass you got there!

I didn't get a chance to play the GBs at the show, though Michael tried one of them out, I believe - I've played GBs before though, and was really impressed with how well made they are. The electronics were a bit scary though - +/- 18db????

Those photos were all taken by Bud LeCompte - the 'moderator' of alt.guitar.bass - he and his wife Linny were at the show, and took those rather fun piccies of Michael and I...

Yeah, the electronics being 18v +/- 18db are just a tad scary at first as one slight movement changes the entire tone... but you get use to them as you play about with the sweepable mid and treble... and if u think the GB IV's are scary you should see the Rumor model electronics :eek: ...
