Hey all,
I scored an nice looking J body to be paired up with either a MIM fretless neck or a MIA fretted that are laying about. Unlike a trad J, this one is a rear-route and has 4 holes drilled. the body is Ash and I'm guessing that it will be a bright sounding.

So the question is ... do I go LP/335 style wiring with a Vol & tone for each P/U or is there something more exotic that I can do ? I'm planning on mounting up Seymor's SJB-1's as I have those pretty much dialed in.

Maybe a 3 way switch ? Maybe a blend control - that might be cool if it doesn't suck the life out of the pickups ...
