I've just finished school here in scotland, so that means i wont have any bass lessons all summer, so i better get practicing hard.

but....

im fairly new to the intrument (about 10 months now) and i sometimes go out of tune when playing on the higher register.
the bass in my school has little handy stickers on it:D

but the bass in my house doesnt:(

does anyone have any tips for me?

i'd be really grateful!!

thank you!!

peace!

Neil

If you've got access to a definite pitch instrument ie a keyboard or well-tuned guitar, enlist a friend, sibling or postman to play the notes you'd like to find on your bass. Keep hunting until your pitch matches the one on the keyboard or guitar.

You can then put the tapes there yourself, or better yet, do it enough so that your ears will tell your fingers what to do without the tape.
