I tried to log into the TB chat, and it wouldn't let me. I type in my name and password, and it says "not logged in" just like it does before i type anything in, it doesn't change. It doesn't even say "login not accepted by server".

I tried restarting the comp, more than once it has been my java machine messing up. It didn't fix it. Other people are having the same problem as well, so I know it isn't me.

It's bumming me out :(

I can't get in either. It just hangs when I click 'Connect'.

Neither Potrait of Tracy or I can access chat function. I checked with him earlier.

The Java script downloads, but when you click connect notthing happens. It continues to say not connected.

Both he and I noted we have not seen anyone connected for a week or so, it seems.

I checked this last night.

Hangs at the connect screen, then totally locked up my machine.

I run Win98 and a cable hispeed connection.
Worked fine before, even with dial-up.

Can you fix this?

Sorry, was a problem with the chat init script, so after every server reboot it was setting itself up incorrectly. Should be up now

It's not working for me, same problem as Nick Gann.

It works now, there were 6 of us talking in there less than 5 minutes ago...

I still can't get in. Restarting doesn't help and I have the lastest Java...what gives?

Upon further examination, I found this error from Java:

java.lang.NullPointerException
at chatclient.Chat.stop(Chat.java)
at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
