i just got a sweet upright for 34 dollars from the guy down the street from me, i put electric bass strings on it and it sounds so rock and roll. i learned how to play i fought the law and american idiot by green day on it. my bass is better than all of yours

Some other players have used baling twine for more of a gut-string-like tone and response. Your results may vary. |

The headstock had those darn sideways tuning gears set down into the box shaped part of it, so he had to cut through the back of the headstock to make restringing with the baling wire ends easier. |
