1/2 & 1/4 size basses
I own a 3/4 bass but thinking about getting a 2nd bass that could be used for traveling (by vehicle and airplane). I was wondering if 1/2 and 1/4 size basses would fit the bill. I would appreciate feedback.
thanks

Maybe, a better idea is a 3/4 with a removable neck.
You could either get a new bass with a removable neck, or have your current bass converted.

I've been considering having a 5/8 bass converted to an RN or a 1/2 size RN w/ a 3/4 size neck.

Maybe a 1/4 size, but a half size doesn't really save you enough size to make that much of a difference...
