1941 German Hoyer double bass I am looking at and thinking about buying a 3/4 bass violin with a sticker on the inside with Hoyer on it. Also on the back of the body, just below where the neck joins the body, the same enblem(that's on the sticker) is burned into the wood. The owner says it is a 1941 model. I don't know where to look for the serial number and I can't seem to find any information online about Hoyer bass violins anyway. It seems to be a well made instrument although there is some damage to the neck and body. I would appreciate any information or direction to information anyone can give me. Thanks! jonnycakes
