Accompanist Fee?

Can anyone give me a ballpark figure for the fee charged by an accompanist? While the accompanist is professional, the bass players are junior high students, for a school performance. The time involved is one individual rehearsal, a dress rehearsal and the performance. We're new to the bass world, and are still experiencing sticker shock. Thanks for any comments or advice.

Fee

My son's school charged $25 for each student. I don't know if this is usual, but since there were over 50 kids, it was a pretty good gig for a couple hour's work.

How many players?

Where are you located?

Basically the accompanist needs to get paid the going rate for the area divided by the number of students. Rehearsal and performance.
