| American Standard tailpiece dimensions
Hi folks found talkbass while researching my new (old) bass. I recently acquired a 1951 American Standard. Before I take it to the luthier for setup I would like to get some info, if possible from another American Standard owner. Mine arrived with a very messed up adjustable bridge and a old 3 hole tailpiece that had been modified to accommodate 4 strings. If someone can tell me the proper dimensions and hole spacing, that would be great. Or I suppose if you have an extra old American Standard taillpiece......
