Question Andreas Morelli???

Hi,
I just got my first bass last year, it's german, from 1924 and on the inside is a signiture (which is also where the year is and some other info), and it says Andreas Morelli. The appraiser I took it to thought that it was a factory instrument and that that was just the name, but a bass teacher I met a few weeks ago has a Morelli bass, and so we played eachothers and they are a lot alike, so, I was just pretty much wondering if anyone could tell me anything about Morelli. I googled the name and couldn't find anything , and tried to find info a few other ways but I couldn't find anything. Can you help me out?
Louie

I'm pretty familiar with them

They are indeed German instruments. I've had two (identical) Very nice, maybe a cut above the early Juzeks, but still a very nice commercial German bass.

You might get in touch with him through his forum. He is usually pretty knowledgeable about the basses he has.

Ok, thanks, I went to the site, and the bass looks almost exactly like my bass except my bass has french corners. Thanks for your help, Louie
