| i think i know this ebay seller. he sells often interesting looking old basses (and other string instruments), with imho faked labels and always the same story of the widow of the former owner, who gave him the bass after the owner died....
on the one hand he writes he´s a complete layman, on the other hand he uses correct luthier-terminology, thats not really kosher i think
i would only bid for what i see, not for what he writes
