Is this another palatino?

For the price it would seem so, but the owner says she doesn't know.

I don't know if its a dreaded Palatino but several things about the ad etc. cause me to be very wary. Laminate with an "ebonized" board. The bridge was "adjusted" but take a look at it.
No brand but paid a fortune for it? Who knows, maybe it's a solid cheapie and would be okay for the $400. You'd have to see, play, and inspect it.

And that first reply to a question, she has bullets with every detail, as if it is copied from an advertisement. Yet she doesn't know the make?

Thanks for the help!

I wonder if their fortune spent was the full $895? No ebay rules against exaggeration though. Your googling skills are much appreciated.

Seems it would be every bit as good as a Palatino!

I suppose that $895 might seem a fortune to one who has no experience purchasing a bass. Haha

Relatively speaking, your right. Makes me feel kind of guilty for poking fun.

Yeah, what's a "fortune" is certainly relative. For many, $895 is a fortune no matter what it's for-- whether it's rent, food, or a washing machine. Unfortunately for them, that amount doesn't buy a quality new bass.
