| Another quick roundback vs flatty thread
I know this thread will be generalisation central, but do people find that the shape of the back affects high register notes?
eg, of all the basses I hear played regularly, mines the only flatback and i feel it has the most sustain and note clarity right up in thumb position.
is that just down to setup and string choice or are there trends when it comes to roundback and flatbacks?
