| | | | Anybody ever heard of a Saumer Bass and know what it's worth? generic title
from what I know, it was made in 1975, wide grain spruce top, curved maple back. The contre-eclisses (don't know the english word ) are external. 3/4. German ? Czeck ?

Finally a photo of the scroll and the machines wiil complete the whole picture. We have some very experienced friends in the forum and they can help you very much. |

| | | | pictures, 4 Ribs.
There several cracks. The ones on each side of the tail piece and on the rib from the endpin hole have been repaired. This involved undecking.
This bass was bought by the current owner as a student bass, upon advice from her teacher.
I'm interested as I'm considering buying it.
Thanks for the time you take to help me. |

| | | | The bass sold for 2000 €. I didn't buy it, mainly because I know the luthier who repaired the top and I don't trust him.
Sound was nice, even and with a good projection. A bit stiff to play but the setup was far from good. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
