Music shops, venues where music of the double bass sort is played, pawn shops, etc. Then there's always this sites classified ads. Craigslist.com, eBay. Or a local classified paper. You will want to get pictures of it from all sides. And in the add it might help to go into some detail about what makes it a must have for buyers. Why did you get it? Why did you love it? Why are you getting rid of it? Things like that always make buying used gear less sketchy because it seems like if someone has an add with the manufacturer's default catalog pic and no description that there's somethibg wrong. Musicians usually are looking for an instrument they can fall in love with. I wanna know everything about my basses. Used should be no different. |

| | | | There are plenty of non "cheap crap" basses on both eBay and craigslist. eBay probably would not be your best choice do to the shipping difficulties associated with double basses. But I see no problem with advertising on craigslist as it is local and is a very effective tool for selling. |

| | | | this is true, i will definitely check out craigs list |

Most, if not all, of those are likely Asian imports, but your competition, nonetheless...
