anybody have plans for a multi bass wooden stand ?

I'd like to build a wooden stand to hold 3 or 4 basses, like the ones I've seen in high schools and in bass shops which are shaped like swingsets where the basses are side by side.

Does anybody have plans for one of those lying around ? It's not a terribly complex project but I wouldn't mind saving a little time.

cheers

No plans per se, but I went thru this a while back and got a lot of great feedback, here.

And now for something you didn't ask for...

I've seen a few people use these homemade jobbies at trade shows for showing four basses. They took two pieces of plywood and cut a slot the thickness of the plywood halfway down the center of the length of each. Slid them together to make an X, stood it up, and voila! Four basses, one facing into each corner. Apply stylistic embellishments as desired.

I googled around for an image, no such luck. There are plenty of images out there of the type you described that you should be able to draw from though.

Tele, maybe you have too many basses? Nah, what was I thinking?

Thanks guys.

I'll be picking up another bass from a guy that has a couple of stands like this, so I think I'll snap some pics and make some measurements then so I don't make a woodworking blunder.

Too many basses ? I know what those words mean individually, but when you put them together like that, it's like they're from another language ?
