I got my Shen through Arnold too. You can't go wrong with Arnold.

Rogeri willow version

I like the Rogeri willow carved back model. It's pretty hard to go wrong with that one.

Mr. Bollbach is my dad, who knows squat about basses. However he is quite the bass fisherman.

I'd definitely advise trying some of the various models. I have a 7/8 Willow flatback and love it although the bottom end is a bit weak acoustically. However I tried the 3/4 Willow flatback, the 3/4 Rogeri and also some gamba 3/4 Maple roundbacks and didn't like any of them. I was quite disappointed in the Rogeri especially.
