Anyone have any experience with Merano uprights?

Been looking at brands/prices on new/used uprights. I didn't see anything about these in the Newbie section. This looks a little better than a Cremona (that everyone seems to love to bash.) Is this six of one and half a dozen of the other? Is Merano the long lost sister to Cremona? It's pretty, but as most of us guys know, what looks good on the outside might just be a pretty covering for a real bizitchy. Opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Oh, this is my first post. Be gentle.....

Most definitely just the same as Cremona, but with a different name. The only thing nicer is the ebony FB, but it's still a CCB all the same. Avoid it at all costs; their price is also way high.

If that is all the $$ you got, I would get a Roma (http://www.bassesonline.com/roma.html) or keep saving.

Haven't seen the bass, but if it's anything like their cello, run fast in the other direction.
